I used to be academically very weak and was always one of of the slowest during my high school and college days. I failed frequently in the subjects I was taking and soon enough I found myself placed at the rock bottom of my entire class.

To make things even worse, many of my close friends attended the best schools in the country. Because of that, I really began to think I was born lazy, slow, unmotivated, maybe even stupid.

The whole turning point came when I happened to pick up a book : "The Power of Your Subconscious Mind" written by Dr. Joseph Murphy. It's one of the first self help books that I read. I began to understand how our mind works and began to apply them to my studies. Slowly and steadily, I managed to get As for my grades in University.
